MPC and The Mill, Technicolor companies, take international festivals by storm with multiple awards across VFX, animation, and post-production.
MPC and The Mill, both members of Technicolor family of brands, have won multiple honors at two prestigious international festivals: CICLOPE in Berlin and the London International Awards (LIA), which convened in Las Vegas.
Dubbed the international festival of craft, CICLOPE celebrates the art of execution in moving images.
Following eight nominations across four categories, MPC won three of the one-eyed CICLOPE trophies, including the top accolade of VFX Company of the Year. MPC Film’s Sheldon Stopsack, VFX Supervisor, got the festival off to a start with a behind-the-scenes look at VFX craftsmanship as he discussed MPC’s visual effects work in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
