Andrea Miloro Appointed Chief Business and Strategy Officer Mikros Animation and MPC

Paris (France), February 19, 2024 – Today, Technicolor Group announces an evolution of its leadership structure in the context of its ongoing transformation into a more agile and tech-enabling Company. This strategic move aims to better serve its clients, further improve working environments for talents, and reinforce its market leading position in a rapidly changing industry.

Andrea Miloro, President of Mikros Animation – the Company’s global animation studio – is taking an additional leadership role. Alongside her existing responsibilities, she is appointed Chief Business and Strategy Officer Mikros and MPC. She will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial growth of both brands, replacing Christian Roberton in overseeing MPC – the Company’s award-winning visual effects studio, after years of impactful collaboration. Andrea Miloro will continue to be based in Los Angeles, to partner with creatives and be close to customers.

Andrea Miloro’s solid career in the entertainment industry spans 25+ years. She is an established leader in animation – having held creative and production leadership positions at most of the biggest players in the industry, including Sony Pictures Animation and Fox Animation – with strong capabilities in VFX. She has demonstrated her valuable industry experience while also building a solid management team around her at Mikros Animation. Under her leadership, the Mikros team delivered outstanding projects including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie and Orion and the Dark.

Andrea Miloro

Andrea joined Technicolor Group in February 2021 to lead the global animation studio with bases in Montreal, London, Paris and Bangalore. The work of the studio covers a range of genres from episodic to long-form series, from feature films to IP.

Andrea’s career in the entertainment industry spans 25+ years and she has held creative and production leadership positions at most of the biggest players on the Animation stage.

As Vice President, Head of Production at Sony Pictures Animation, Andrea oversaw the making of renowned shows including Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Hotel Transylvania and the Academy Award®-nominated Surf’s Up (2007).

In 2017 Andrea was named Co-President of Fox Animation overseeing all of Blue Sky Studios and Locksmith Animation. She was then appointed as President of Fox Animation where she was responsible for productions such as Spies in Disguise, Ron’s Gone Wrong and Nimona.
