Dive into the unique collaboration between MPC, The Mill, and Netflix to discover how they created the engrossing world of Under Paris. VFX Producer Loriane Lucas, VFX Supervisor Arnaud Fouquet, CG Supervisor FLORIAN WOLFF, and Mill+’s David Roubah reveal the creative and technical challenges that brought the chart-topping aquatic thriller to life.
MPC created 288 VFX shots for the film, while The Mill designed a jaw-dropping immersive experience that was showcased at the Paris premiere.
With over 102.3 million views and a spot in the Top 10 Most Popular Non-English Films on Netflix, Under Paris was a roaring success.

The Mill
The Mill are incredibly proud to have launched The Zero Malaria Experience, developed and built by Creative Director, Will MacNeil, and their incredible Experiential Entertainment Team.
This data-led Experience uses new research to allow guests to select different combinations from a ‘toolbox’ of cutting-edge innovations to demonstrate how when used together, many millions of lives can be saved from malaria. Check out the experience below or learn more.
Wonder how The Mill created such a unique data-driven experience for Malaria No More UK? The masterful Experience Team developed the concept, building it in New York in partnership with 4Wall Entertainment, using cutting-edge LED stages and advanced virtual production technology.
In collaboration with Imperial College London, the team harnessed an artistic and data-driven approach to tackling awareness.
Mark Benson, President of The Mill, explained, ‘We have designed the Malaria No More UK immersive experience with the Outernet London space in mind. It’s not an easy story to tell, but we hope we have found an effective and impactful way to do so.’

Mikros Animation
Prepare to unlock the magic behind PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie! Mikros Magic offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how the sensational Lighting and Compositing teams brought these heroic pups to life on screen.
The Lighting team, led by Brune Marie de Miscault, crafted the mood by adding depth and atmosphere to each scene, from high-intensity action moments to softer sequences. Meanwhile, the Compositing artists, under the supervision of Charles Granger, brought together all of the visual elements – characters, backgrounds, and effects – to create cohesive and dynamic images, staying true to the instantly recognisable style of PAW Patrol.
Ready to explore how SpongeBob was brought to life in the SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run? Luckily for you, Jacques Daigle, Animation Supervisor, reveals just how in this episode of Mikros Magic.
Through a specially crafted rig designed to animate every part of SpongeBob independently, the team balanced traditional animation with advanced technology to give SpongeBob his signature lively presence on screen. From hand-painted brush strokes that add a 2D animation feel, to sketches and storyboards used to stay true to the show, the iconic character unlocked new heights!
