The Mill were triumphant at the Clio Awards and are bringing back iconic festive favourites. Mikros Animation continue to share their wondrous magic, and Technicolor Games have returned from IGDC with insights galore.

Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx will uplift January blues with Back in Action. This comedic thriller follows two former CIA spies who find themselves back in the world of espionage when their cover is blown.

The Mill have triumphed again this awards season! The team won gold for Art Fund’s ‘National Art Pass‘ in the Use of Data category at the 2024 BIMA Awards!
This world-first project highlights how our brains are stimulated when we experience art in museums and galleries. The masterful use of technology takes us one step further in understanding the fundamental value of art, cementing The Mill’s Experience Team as the first to visually demonstrate the impact of art on human brainwaves, in real-time.
Not one, not two, but EIGHT projects from The Mill were named winners at the Clio Sports Awards, totaling up to 38 wins across several categories! Winners include:

The Mill are proud to have contributed to a powerful campaign by Women’s Aid, created in collaboration with LADbible and produced by Merman.
‘Van Wife‘, led by a female crew and directed by Rachel Stubbings, tells the story of young couple Liv and Jack on a campervan adventure, revealing how coercive behaviours escalate into abuse.
The Mill were tasked with crafting a film for Hot Chips 2024 that featured the IBM Telum II Processor and IBM Spyre Accelerator. Check out the magnificent result below, complete with high-tech visuals and dynamic animation.
The team had a fantastic time at the first-ever Dead Ad Society Awards. As sponsors of the event, The Mill will help bring these ideas to life—fully produced, fully realized. Congrats to the winners!

The Mill are thrilled to welcome two new colleagues to the team.
Jack Howard, Executive Producer, has joined The Mill’s Live Action team in London. Having worked in advertising and film for over a decade, Jack has developed and produced commercials, branded entertainment and social-first content on both agency and production sides. Jack has previously worked at Eleanor Films, BBH, ACNE, Condé Nast, and Mission Media, producing films for global brands, such as Spotify, Netflix, TikTok, and Chanel.
Stephanie Way, VFX Producer, has joined the London studio. Stephanie has spent years in London’s post-production world, focusing on VFX for commercials and short-form branded content. She started her career at Smoke & Mirrors, before moving onto Tag London, and later went freelance, where she continued to develop a standout portfolio.
Don’t forget – The Mill’s unbeatable team are working with Layered Reality to bring back the one and only King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

With Asterix and the indomitable Gauls, Mikros embraced ambitious technical and artistic challenges to bring this iconic universe to life. This success paved the way for new projects and collaborations, including the second instalment, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year – The Game Awards nominees have been announced!
Technicolor Games is exceptionally proud to see many of the phenomenal games they’ve supported recognised across a variety of categories in this year’s prestigious list of nominees. Good luck to all on December 12.
