About the Speaker:
Soumyadipta Roy has over 13 years of industry experience as a seasoned Trainer at the Technicolor Creative Studios Academy in the field of 3D-DMP. Commencing his professional journey in 2011 with MPC, he subsequently contributed his expertise to renowned entities like Graphic India, People Corp Gaming in Canada, and various other international ventures.
Roy has worked on a number of prestigious Hollywood projects, including Harry Potter, X-Men, Man of Steel, and Disney’s John Carter. Beyond his roles in the industry, he also left his creative mark as an accomplished illustrator for Stan Lee’s “Chakra, The Invincible” comic book. Aside from his animation contributions, he also played an important role in the Canadian television series “Guardians Evolution.”.
Currently, Roy is tasked with creating intricate worlds alongside an international team of exceptional talents. His collaborative efforts are geographically diverse, spanning locations in London, Australia, and Bangalore.
Roy also holds the dual responsibility of overseeing academy graduates at the Technicolor Academy and providing training for employees at MPC, Mikros Animation, Technicolor Games, and The Mill.
